This whimsical art piece features a pendant that was fabricated from hand-sawn and textured fragments of sterling silver and Argentium silver. The pieces were thoughtfully layered to add depth and are framed by an asymmetric heart. 24 karat gold foil was fused over sections of silver using the Korean technique of Keum Boo. The sterling silver box chain has a polished gunmetal finish and is attached to the pendant with solid 18 karat gold rings. A third 18k gold jump ring accents one side of the chain.

This necklace is designed to be worn between the bust and the belly button. The chain is 31 inches long and slips on over the head. The pendant is a tactile conversation starter and measures approximately 2.25 x 1.25 inches. The back side has a scratched texture and is stamped with my maker’s mark. Sealed with Renaissance wax.
