YOUR GUIDE TO RING SIZING
It can be difficult to purchase a ring without trying it on first. Here are some tips to help you choose a ring that will fit well…
1 - Measure your ring size when your hand is cool and relaxed. Hot weather, sweating and salty foods cause the fingers to swell.
2 - Wider bands compress more tissue, requiring you to “size up” about 1/2 size (see image below).
3 - Inexpensive ring sizers are readily available, such as these: for thin bands and for wide bands and will allow you to play around with different sizes at home before deciding.
4 - With age, our knuckles become wider. This can make for a tighter fit getting a ring to slide past the joint. A small amount of oil such as Vitamin E or mineral oil can help. If you require a larger ring size to pass the joint but the ring is loose around the finger, invisible ring guards such as these are a great and discrete solution.
5 - Ready-to-ship rings cannot be re-sized. Keep in mind, returns are accepted in original condition within 7 days of delivery if the fit isn’t right!
