Oregon Fire Opal, Lapis Lazuli, Hubei Polychrome Turquoise, Gold Sheen Obsidian & Rutilated Quartz were chosen for the way each stone elevates the others. Each gemstone is seated on a double sterling back plate and is set in fine silver. The fire Opal and Quartz rest over an added layer of fine silver, enhancing their natural luminescence, as the sliver glow reflects through the transparency.
Hidden bails create a floating illusion for the cascade of gemstones. The sterling silver foxtail chain with lobster clasp is adjustable between 16-18 inches. This piece is oxidized with a satin finish and stamped on the back with my maker’s mark.
